Welcome to Lowcountry Chinchillas! We are family operated just outside of Walterboro, South Carolina. We have been breeding chinchillas for about 12 years and are absolutely in love with them. Our herd has grown to over 400 breeders, however, ALL of our babies are cuddled and loved to ensure they are friendly pets.
We are able to offer a unique experience of having many babies avalible at any given time. This allows you to pick the best fit for your family out of several chinchillas in the color of your choice. We welcome you to come and spend time with several kits to see which one bonds to you best.
Chinchillas are happiest in pairs so we are currently offering a price reduction if you prefer to purchase a same sex pair of young chinchillas. The second kit will be reduced to 1/2 price.
